Winterborn Alpaca USA was founded 14 years ago as a collection of alpaca scarves purchased directly from a Quechua family in Northern Ecuador. Using techniques perfected over generations, each scarf is lovingly hand-woven by the same family today using Andean alpaca fleece that's known to be one of the most luxurious fibers.

The scarves you see on our website are highly durable, and water-resistant, making them ideally suited for gifts and personal use. Plus, even the thickest scarves are lightweight so they can easily be worn for an extended period.

Materials: 60% Alpaca, 40% Acrylic
Washing: Hand-wash, or use the gentle cycle with cold water & a sensitive soap.
Lay flat or hang to dry.
Using a soft brush, comb fibers in their natural direction.
