Winterborn Alpaca USA was founded 10 years ago as a collection of alpaca scarves purchased directly from a Quechua family in Northern Ecuador.

Using techniques perfected over generations, each scarf is lovingly hand-woven by the same family today using Andean alpaca fleece that's known to be one of the most luxurious fibers. Warm, soft, and always comfortable - find out for yourself what makes them so amazing! Unisex, one size fits all - great as gifts for men, women, moms, dads, best friends, teachers, bosses, co-workers, secret Santa, and more. No wardrobe is complete without genuine, handmade alpaca scarves. We currently have an extensive collection of scarves made from the softest, lightest, and most durable baby alpaca wool. Our eco-friendly baby alpaca scarves are made using undyed natural color yarn. That means that these scarves are available in 22 different colors and a myriad of color combinations. So, there is something for all styles of dresses. The scarves you see on our website are highly durable, water-resistant, making them ideally suited for gifts and personal use. Plus, even the thickest scarves are lightweight so they can easily be worn for an extended period.
